Information collected
When you request a quote, the service collects the details you provide. These can include your name, mobile number, optional email, vehicle make and model, registration, VIN, location, key problem, notes, photos and ownership documents.
How the information is used
The information is used to identify the vehicle and requested service, prepare and manage a quote, communicate job updates, confirm that vehicle access is authorised, support the customer and operate the service securely.
Who can access it
Job information is made available to the authorised locksmith assigned to the enquiry and to authorised administrators supporting the service. Technical providers may process information where required to host files, deliver the website, email or SMS, and protect the platform. Personal information is not sold.
Private job links and uploads
Customer and locksmith job links are designed to be private. Do not post a private job link publicly or forward it to someone who should not access the job. Uploaded documents are stored with the job and are not placed on public website pages.
Retention and requests
Information is retained for as long as reasonably required to provide the service, maintain job records, resolve support matters and meet applicable obligations. To request access, correction or deletion, email help@mobilecarkeys.net with enough information to identify the relevant request.
Service and marketing messages
Quote and progress notifications relate to the service you requested. Promotional email or SMS should only be sent where the required consent has been recorded, with a clear way to opt out.
